These clubs sponsor our local Bird Marts. To see a schedule, click here. Have nothing to do on Saturday nights? Go to a bird meeting!!!! Here is a listing of the 3 different clubs in the Phoenix area. When we can, we go to Arizona Avian Breeders Association (AABA) P.O. Box 6716, Glendale, AZ 85312-6716. AABA meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, social time at 6:30 pm, meeting starts at 7:00 pm, in room 402 (north end of the church) at The Church of the Living Spirit, 3736 West Wahalla Lane in Phoenix, AZ 85308-2227. It is one street off the 101. It is also close to I-17. The major cross streets are: 35th Avenue and Behrend Drive.
When coming from the west
side:
AZ-101-Loop North Take
exit #20/51st Ave onto W Beardsley Rd go 2.15 miles
Turn right on W Wahalla
Lane (this a 1 lane street-lot on right when you turn is empty)
THIS IS A HOUSE 3736 is
your first driveway on your right- you drive in and there is parking
completely around the house on both sides!
Over in the east valley
is the
Arizona Seed Crackers (ASCS).
They meet the 3rd Saturday of each month 7 pm. Love of Christ Church, 1524 N. Power Road, Mesa.
The
President is Mary Rose and she can be reached at 602 999 7828. Parrots of the Hills Bird Club. Meetings on the first Friday of each month at 7 pm - 9 pm. Faith Mountain Church, 11843 Desert Vista Drive, Fountain Hills. President: Lori Bell 480-836-9585 There is a club in Tucson called Avicultural Society of Tucson (AST). They meet the 2nd Sunday of each month at 1:30 pm. P.O.
